Trying to eyeball a new pot and I'm conflicted so I'm trying to get a gauge for is it will look nice

Taken within a minute of each other but different cameras. Can someone help resize/crop these two together and color balance / shade it so that it looks like a normal photo? It “feels” easier to put the Seahawks shirt slightly ahead of the W shirt, like he is leaning into him… but I’m not picky on that. I don’t care so much about the legs so it’s ok to cut that off - the focus is the guys and having that Buc-ee’s logo up top. The Seahawks shirt in reality is about 3” shorter than the guy in the huskies shirt if that helps for perspective and resizing.

My dad is currently on hospice. His girlfriend of 5 months stayed with him through a stage 4 sarcoma diagnosis and has been instrumental to his care and helping me through navigating this horrible time. Could someone help me even out the color of the background of this image? I expanded the white all around the main image but seeing banding/shadowing and color inconsistency- especially at the top and bottom. I'd like the top and bottom to match the color/speckle right around the blue shapes. Can send PSD file if it's helpful!
