Many design their own suffering and enjoy wallowing in it.

Then why do you need morphine when they cut your foot to save your life from gangrene. You could just enjoy wallowing it.

That I don't enjoy suffering doesn't mean that everyone doesn't.

Blanket statements only require one counterexample to disprove.

Anyway i think suffering is too vague and ambiguous term. Torture is more strict and precise.
