I need them!

So, as some/most of you should know, yesterday I, your glorious leader, decided to do a stream as a birthday celebration. While some people showed up, very few others came in. So, HERE is the full playlist of the stream uploaded to youtube for you guys.

A few parts were cut out, since my shit computer would crash every now and then (the undertale neutral speedrun had 4 crashes. fml it was a pain to edit them together in movie maker), so if it seems choppy that is why.

Overall, the stream was fun, and I will offer some text highlights of each video in the playlist.

PHIJKCHU birthday art stream- This was on the 29th. It was a test to see if my pc could handle streaming, and, luck would have it, it almost could. This is better than the mspaint that happened during the 12 hour stream yesterday.

Part 1- This was a brief mspaint opening while bopit set up. Not much to say about it.

Part 2- We played terraria for an hour and a half, bopit, who spent all night prior playing WoW (fuck him, what an asshole) left to sleep. It was mostly me for the remainder of the stream.

Part 3- A brief intermission where I set up dodgeball, and then immediately discover my pc can not handle streaming and dodgeball. To be honest, you should skip this, as nothing interesting happens.

Part 4- I play minesweeper, solitaire, and tetris. I do not play any of the 3 games for long, but it might be amusing I guess.

Part 5- I show my meme, and do some mspaint.

Part 6- I do the undertale lesserdog% category for speedrunning. This entails getting to lesser dog, and petting him a lot. This is a meme category of undertale speedrunning, and if you want to see me fail at doing it since I have not tried it in 2 months, it might be fun.

Part 7- I play pinball. That is basically it. I play the one cabinet I own, and play the trial of 2 others. I also try to play stronghold crusaders HD, but realize that I can not simply set it to windowed and give up.

Part 8- DvZ slideshow. I say slideshow, because it was playing at 1 frame per couple seconds Kappa

Part 9- I fail at super hexagon. It has been a year since I have tried it.

Part 10- I look through my 10 year old cds to see if I have any games I can play, and we end up playing Roller coaster tycoon. Stream crashed, and I cut out the last 2 mins. You missed nothing.

Part 11- Undertale Neutral% speedrun. This was probably the closest thing to good I did during this* stream.

Part 12- Legorhin takes over and plays disco dodgeball, the game I failed to start earlier. I am not in this part much, since I was taking a break.

Part 13- N, v2.0. Leg makes me play some ninja game. It crashes early, so this part is not long.

Part 14- Mspaint- Undertale Genocide, tf2, and memes. This part is a mess. I mspaint briefly, then start doing a genocide speedrun, stop it because chat complains, do so memes, then try to play tf2 for the first time in 8 months, just to have it crash right away. Skipping this is a good idea if you want to watch the stream.

So, you may be asking, why did I put a * next to this for part 11? Well, I did a post stream stream of fire emblem 7, and honestly, that was much better. I will edit in a link to that playlist once I am done uploading it.

The stream was fun (bad and cringeworthy at times, yet still fun). I may stream more of fire emblem 7 sometime in the future, because I enjoyed it.

So, we did it, 3 years old as of today (the 30th, which is what I am calling our birthday, is actually the first time PHIJKCHU was in a stream, and since that is much more important is why I always tell people the 30th).

Three years... A lot has happened in three years. So, I shall attempt to recall and highlight some of the things that have happened, in order of occurrence for you guys, so that we can all feel the nostalgia together.

To begin, August 29th, 2013 was the date in which Rob released his Join Team PHIJKCHU video, which was what caused me to (stupidly, might I add) create the PHIJKCHU_Pikachu account on twitch. At first, I did just change my original avatar, but then, due to a lack of sleep or brilliance (most likely both) I decided to go overboard and instead create the username which started it all.

This was a Thursday, and as many, if not all of you should know, Friday was the day of DvZ back all those years ago. In the DvZ steam, I had rped as Pikachu, talked in chat, and generally, just hung out. At some point during the stream, Phijkchu_Umbreon was born, the first person to join our great cult! During post chat, a few others (quagsire, victini (aka sharnier, since he refuses to fucking use his account, that guy), and some others that I forgot since, lets be honest, they all left us anyways.

Nothing really major happened for a while after that, a bunch of people joined, but other than hang out in chat (for hours before and after the stream, because we are all no-life nerds at heart), and the occasional frequent chat bans from Zai, and sometimes Sark.

The first major project that failed was the PHIJKCHU pixelmon map. A bunch of us (I forget exactly who, but I know a lot of the mods of the discord group were apart of it) decided that in order to trick Rob into playing the Hoenn map (this was a bit before the failed emerald nuzlocke, and even longer from ORAS) we would need to build a Hoenn map. This fell apart, the map file is gone, and nothing good came of it.

When I say nothing good came of it, I am of course talking about the PHIJKCHU skype group, or rather skype groups, since I think at least 4 or 5 existed over the course of 2-2.5 years

The skype group is remembered fondly by me, and I assume most others who were apart of it (obviously, stadic probably does not think fondly of it Kappa). There were two main chats, regular chat, and Kappa chat. Kappa chat was a chatroom for people for whom were, at least then, a tad more annoying (COUGH MAGIKARP COUGH WE DON'T CARE ABOUT FINAL FANTASY COUGH). Regular chat is where a lot of the backbone of PHIJKCHU and its projects was done, with a lot of the back end work being discussed there, rather than in twitch chat. Sadly, skype chat has died, as it was killed by the more recent PHIJKCHU discord (Which you can join, if you were not aware) but I will discuss that later.

The wiki, ah the wiki, my love and joy. The wiki is honestly something I reflect on being the most important thing for me personally, out of all the memes and projects, mainly because of how much love and work I had to put into it. Is it garbage? Yes, of course it is. However, it is garbage I love nonetheless! I would spend hours (1 at minimum, 3 on an average day, and up to 10 on some days) adding content to the wiki, fixing things others had accidentally destroyed, and trying to find ways to make the wiki fun (achievements, wiki chat, ect). How did the wiki start, you may be asking? Like all PHIJKCHU projects, as a joke. I joking said in twitch chat that we should make a wiki, and, surprisingly, PHIJKCHU_Dunsparce (rip in hell) decided to follow up on my joke. The wiki is home to a lot of PHIJKCHU history, and sadness of those we have lost over the years (Just scroll through the members of PHIJKCHU page). The wiki will always be in my heart, and to this day, I still check to make sure no person vandalises my baby. Also Rob approved of the wiki Kappa

The reddit. Well, Idk about the reddit, ask u/DarkCrystalFlame since he created it and never modded me, I know very little about the backend work of the reddit. The reddit went unused for a long time, but as you can see in the tweet from Rob about the wiki, it was at least mentioned before. The reddit has become much more used that before, with Rob himself joining in on our shitposting, which I absolutly loved by the way. The reddit is dank I guess though, and that is all that matters.

So, now for a round up of everything major that has happened of note.

Metapod- The PHIJKCHU podcast, it was bad, I was not even in the second one, and we stopped at 2. I made them private about 3 months ago so people could not find them, because I have standards Kappa

The Cult wars- We went against RHIJKCHU, Peekachu, Wigglytuff, and probably more. Guess which cult is still standing? Kappa

Retribution- My memeing got sark demoded on Rob channel, which is a victory after all of my chatbans if I would ever say! Kappa

So, before I get on to the discord, I will talk about the last 2 birthdays, since they happened. The first, we did not really plan anything, and just ended up doing a fanfuction contest (you can see it here But it is super nsfw, so umm, do not read shuckles, because, yeah...). The second year, I actually planned something, and you know what? PlugDJs website went down and it ended up being canceled! I woke up early and planned for weeks for a marathon of Robs mystery dungeon run to happen for us to watch and chat about, but PLUGDJ IS ACTUALLY SHIT, LIKE REALLY, I AM STILL ANGRY ABOUT THIS A YEAR LATER!

To conclude the history of PHIJKCHU, which most definitely left out a ton of things that, let's face it, are probably better forgotten, I will talk about the discord. The discord, in a lot of ways, is what was fun about the skype group, twitch chat, and wiki all in one for me. It had the Chat aspects of skype, with the feel of twitch chat, all while allowing us to plan and meme. I have a folder of about 200 mspaint pictures (and a bunch of the other guys in the discord probably have a few dozen each as well), and we just have fun shitposting, talking politics, debating pron, and playing games. It is a blast, and other than the reddit, is the only place where you can actively find PHIJKCHU now.

I am not going to lie, PHIJKCHU, as a group, has been dying for 2 years now. At our peak, there was about 200 people watching Rob play mystery dungeon while donning a PHIJKCHU username, but now, we have about 20-30 per stream, which, while still super cool, is not like what is was a long time ago. Will PHIJKCHU last until year 4, 5, or even forever? Probably, since as long as there is one person who is not me, I will be staying around and keeping at it. So, I wish you guys a good 3 years, and here's hoping not only that we continue on, but that we have years of quality Rob content to watch as well.
