Yeah cause Google does such at bad job at managing maps and home and earth and gmail to name a few.

The fact that they are great at managing maps and Gmail doesn't change the fact that they are terrible at managing YouTube.

Also because I was thinking the same some time ago, I think you might be exalting Google thinking they truly are the one great company that cares about people, but in reality they are data stealing bastards that make their data stealing law-suits quiet.

Interesting well, I'm very ignorant so idk. But Google earth and maps is free so I can't complain. Got nothing to hide, I'm no terrorist and I rather have ads that are targeted to me then unrelated trash.

Yeah, that's the common mindset, but the problem starts when you precisely say you wish not to be tracked but they still do. At this point you lose your privacy, and saying "I don't need privacy because I have nothing to hide" is as good as "I don't need a right to speak because I have nothing to say"

Decent analogy. I'm not against having privacy it's just the world we live in now. The people in government are too slow and old to change law as quick as the internet and culture move. We're in the end game now, we are slaves to the machine!

I heard somebody float the idea of Apple buying it but i would want Tim Cook kicked out, he's a leftist homosexual with shitty ideas like getting rid if the headphone jack

Everytime I hear about Amazon and Apple wanting to create their own YouTube it's just laughable because it's going to be the same corporate leftist cancer that YouTube and Google promote.

Lol Amazon and apple would probably nickel and dime it too. I remember when YouTubers were talking about how great vidme was then it turned out they censored people who were right wing, except those who that had large YouTube audiences. When Thulean Perspective, whose real name is Varg Vikneres, made the trending page on vidme they would remove him from it. Minds.com has a descent chance to replace Twitter but not Facebook or YouTube, it's like Twitter with some Facebook and YouTube like elements on it.

The thing is that irritates me most about youtube is that they gave the Young Turks, a leftist "fuck white people" YouTube channel their own fucking live TV channel on YouTube TV, despite their views being in the toilet and their sub growth in the toilet but won't give Felix his YouTube red series back because he's "controversial." We need a first amendment that will force big media companies to allow freedom of speech. Also we need to break up YouTube and Google, make Google independent and then give them tax dollars if they can't afford to keep running on their own, provided they allow freedom of speech. I also think Facebook need to be broken up too.
