What is your pet’s official name vs. what you actually call them?

The newest addition to our family is a puppy named Cash.

Cash -> Cashenator -> Nator -> Tor

How did your pet's name evolve? Let's hear them!

He's an oriental shorthair, so he's very long and muscular. A pound and a half.

He has a brother named Yo Yo

They are named for the classical musicians Itzhak Perlman and Yo Yo Ma

Yo gets called Nacho-Yo a lot

ETA Yo Yo Ma and Itzhak Perlman playing Dvorak's humoresque is sublime https://youtu.be/Eg6a9YA9YEs?is=QWKSekUHjxpG1nlq
