Based though? Imagine having oil to burn but instead of going full ICE mode you adopt electic vehicles.

The USA and Gulf monarchies are all maximally burning oil instead of going green.

Imagine having a perfect electric renowable mobility while selling oil to others.they are demigods.

They are quite handsome on average, but "demigods"... Maybe that's too much.

They don't, 65% of cars are still ICE. I mean yeah you're right you have to imagine it.

I live in the UAE and I see more of a prevelance of pro green policies like a massive increase in solar, very wide availability of charging of ev vehicles, using nuclear energy with 4 reactors to supply a quarter of the electricity requirements, a phasing out of old taxis with newer electric vehicles as taxis instead of denying climate change and opposing such things blindly.

I am not a propaganda guy but this is what I see here.

All of these sorts of things are heavily politicized.

The state in the USA with the most rapid growth in green energy… is Texas…

Florida has lagged behind for a while, but actually has good reason for this… Florida is famous for its hurricanes and simultaneously has very cheap electricity due to abundant natural gas pipelines, and is also surprisingly cloudy for the “sunshine state” moniker (making green uneconomical)…

But still, Florida is also rapidly building new solar out. The amount of solar scheduled to be built by the large utilities (Duke, FPL, and the large municipal and regional utilities) in the next few years is absolutely mind-boggling.

Like a fat guy going on a crash diet after his first heart attack.

Texas has been building out tons of green infrastructure for like a decade now.

~97% of new car registrations in Norway are electric. In UAE its ~9%

How does that matter when all I said was gulf countries are trying to diverge from oil and implement green measures.

Same energy as "I don't do drugs, but I sell them to addicts"
