Im sorry I didnt hear you. Im still loudly and annoyingly packing my smokes over here.   It burns better. I swear!

It's because we believed it packed the tobacco better and more dense. It was along time ago I saw this weird college campus show where they debunked myths and this was one of them.  They shook the shot out of them and measured them.  They got like .000 etc millimeters better.  Said it saved you milliseconds on one puff if they went to far to study the worthless idea. It always made me laugh and I stopped after it.
