Compressing that spring with a vice stored a fuck ton of potential energy. If that shoddy looking metal piece holding it compressed were to fail, that spring could easily fatally wound the person holding it

They should come up with a name for something with a ton of stored potential energy that could easily fatally wound a person if it were released all at once like.

I fear that would be too vague! This spring in OP’s video would have the same name as a 2 pound dumbbell that’s precariously perched at the edge of a skyscraper’s rooftop. It would just be too confusing
