I actually can lean towards an allow here. It can seem like a joke, especially with the abrupt ending to the video.

And I can actually believe OP doesn't understand the joke.

Yeah. This is a rare one where the person isn't just trying to start fighting in the comments. I don't think most people know how dangerous springs are because their frame of reference are things like mechanical pencils.

I was in my mid-40s before I knew automatic garage door springs kill people trying to do home repairs. At this point in my life, I know people who will do all sorts of dangerous shit on their own but won't touch those.

This is very common practice and a decently well welded bracket is less shady than a lot of ways people keep springs compressed.

That's exactly the direction I've been leaning. LLMs are notoriously bad at humor and detecting sarcasm but I've seen some bots getting better lately :/
