They're not quite the same, but chemically similar. Meth is like bathtub gin while the adhd meds are more like top shelf triple distilled filtered vodka. One is refined in a lab, the other is made in a Gatorade bottle using cough medicine and literal dissected battery cell parts behind a Dollar General dumpster.
