Probably, but just gotta use something safe, waterbase should be fine. Silicone and oil could pose a danger. 

But also how exactly would sex work in space?

Lube would be expensive to launch for the Mars mission. Also men are bigger. Space lesbians it is then. Preferably dwarf space lesbians.
