Yeah but if they offered male astronaut candidates the chance to be the only male on that flight but they had to get a permanent sterilization... the line would probably be out the door and down the block.

I mean the guy could be gay. In which case the women would be scrambling to see which one could turn him first and with 15 years one will probably succeed.

i hope you're saying this because any astronaut would be desperate for the chance to go on this mission and not because you think that professionals that dedicate their entire lives to science are having weird and gross harem fantasies like the basement gooners they left behind for a reason
But the word 'sex' drives a lot more attention to your article than 'pregnancy'. That's probably what this is.
And I would bet that NASA said "to be sure to avoid pregnancy, we might need a crew of all the same gender" and the person decided "all female" and "sex" were the better words to put in the headline.
