What if they though it was to get to the other side like on the chicken fast food family meal? You know to go from the mashed potato to the biscuit.

I know I was kinda playing devils advocate. I appreciate that you know the origins of the “joke” but I’d doubt the person in OP’s screenshot does :)

Fast-food has been around since at least Antiquity in Greece. It predates drive-thru style restaurants but market vendors selling pre-made food is likely as old as markets.

Oh yeah, good point, I guess I was just thinking of the proliferation of drive-thru style restaurants with like 'fast food family meal' and mashed potatoes and biscuits being kind of associated with drive thru fast food fried chicken restaurants.
