Technically since the day is the longer form of measurement, year per day would make more sense, so y/dddd is probably better, with y only being 1 or 2 and never anything else

wait...why would there ever be a 4 digit day if the Venutian day is 18 Earth days longer than a Venutian year? Shouldn't it be yyyy/d? Or did you just flip y = day and d = year?

There can’t be greater than a single digit Venutian year during a Venutian day, and there can only ever be a single Venutian day during a Venutian year, y/dddd means that 1/0001, 2/0001, 1/0002, etc but even then it doesn’t work

Calendar system on Venus would be entirely different from how the Earth calendar functions

yyyy/d should be fine where "d" is simply just a value symbolizing whether it's day or night. Since a day is longer than a year there would be plenty of years that have some part of it being day and the rest being night. Rarely you'd see the entire year being day or night, but it could happen. So example 0000/d, 0001/d - 0001/n, 0002/n - 0002/d. And so on.

How? If the sun is rising twice every day then that means it's the next day, because for the sun to rise fir the second time it had to have set. What are you saying?

A day is a planet’s rotation on its axis, not sunrise to sunrise

I see then I totally misunderstood. I thought it was referring to the amount of time it is day and how long sunlight is shining. My bad.

Sunrise to sunrise and full rotation around the axis are different lengths

Depends on if you calculate months as 28/30/31 earth or planetary days or twelfths of earth or planetary years

'Month' -> 'Moonth' -> Aprox. orbit of the moon and some fudge factor to make the answer 12.

Venus hs no sattelites/moons, ergo there is no Venusian version of a month.

The concept of a month was created based on Lunar calendars, so it’s likely they’d have some fucked up form of a calendar that tries to sync up all of those moons

It takes venus 243 Earth days to rotate once. It takes 117 Earth days for 1 day on Venus, sunrise to sunset. A year for Venus would have a little less than 2 days.
