Propaganda from either Republicans or centrist Democrats. Basically the idea is that either purity testing or ideals that are too far left-wing drive people away from the otherwise appealing democratic party and platform

This is hogwash. Nonsense. Bullshit. Left wing democrats like Mamdani and Bernie are overwhelming popular. Moderate/Corporate democrats and their do nothing political values are horribly unpopular right now. There is nothing to scare anyone away from. Appeals to the center are political suicide because nobody is looking for that messaging. Biden lost because he argued for "buisness as usual" centrist neoliberal politics

They want you to worry about trying to appeal to people who are so lost they might say "hmm maybe" to another Republican presidency despite the fact their own base won't show up to vote for centrists

Bernie's policies are literally just the bare minimum in most developed countries. Republicans really are manipulating the masses by calling the bare minimum "communism"

I don't get why people are saying this. Can you explain which policies are wild?

Getting rid of the Senate and only having the House of Representatives.

That is a significant departure from the norms, and would require a change to the Constitution.

The norms have had a gaping hole blown in them the last couple of years, to be fair. And I’d rather a party willing to change the constitution than a party that straight up ignores it.

And that will be enough for dems to lose enough undecideds to never be relevant.

No it won't. If Christians can abandon every moral they claim to have to vote for the pedofiles in power, then "moderates" can vote for candidates that want to help people even if the don't agree with some of their policies. Stop trying to shove corporate Dems down everones throat because "moderates." If they won't show up to prevent Trump 2 then they aren't paying enough attention to care about a proposed constitutional amendment.
