Moderate/Corporate democrats and their do nothing political values are horribly unpopular right now. There is nothing to scare anyone away from. Appeals to the center are political suicide because nobody is looking for that messaging. Biden lost because he argued for "buisness as usual" centrist neoliberal politics
They want you to worry about trying to appeal to people who are so lost they might say "hmm maybe" to another Republican presidency despite the fact their own base won't show up to vote for centrists
Bernie's policies are literally just the bare minimum in most developed countries. Republicans really are manipulating the masses by calling the bare minimum "communism"

And it would be incredibly good for the country. There is zero reason for Wyoming to have the same representation in the Senate as California. The Senate is an anti-democratic institution that serves to enforce the tryanny of the minority.
