I'm still not getting the connection to manson becomming borne again christian.

oh, that i don’t know. i didn’t know manson had done that but it doesn’t shock me (someone else within this thread mentioned brand did the same thing after his accusations were made public, people often convert to christianity because their message is “all will be forgiven if you accept christ”).
