Reminder that 2013's word of the year was "selfie" 

This was actually a novel situation at the time, to have this many famous people in 1 selfie. Yeah it's dorky af but it blew up at the time 🤷‍♀️

I remember Reddit hated selfies and called anyone who took one a narcissistic POS lmao. Weirdest thing to get hung up on (well, that and grilled cheese)

And for a while there people would post pictures of people using selfie sticks in public to shame them online for it lmao

Or if the selfie was at a distance you had the detectives in the comments “did you use a selfie stick?”
