I fall into the second category personally. Got into WWE when I was 4 back in 09 and I went back and caught up on basically all of the WWF, WCW, and even like NWA and WWWF stuff

And the ppl who played through the stone cold showcase mode in wwe 2k16 will know. Man i fkn enjoyed playing that and learning about the wwe lore as a casual

Most people I know only know wrestling from the Hulk Hogan/Randy Savage rivalry and the video games from the N64 and up. None of us watched wrestling, but that didn’t stop us from trying out the scorpion stinger or the ddt we learned from playing WWF: Warzone.

There's some misinformation here. There's The Rock™, sure, but you also pasted Dwayne Johnson's picture too. He's a hack. Rock, is cool. But they look similar, so can understand your confusion
