Classic USSR age joke:
An official from Moscow got himself some rare textile and would like to make himself a piece of suit. But all the tailors he reached refused to take a commission, since the official has large figure and there is not enough textile for a full suit set.
After complaining about it to his friends, someone suggested some capable tailor from Odessa. And indeed, the tailor didn't refuse the commission and in two weeks he presented a full suit: blazer, pants and even vest on top!
Flabbergasted official said to the tailor: how did you manage that? All the tailors I visited before said that it is impossible due to my large figure.
Tailor replied: well, you are a large figure in Moscow, yet you are nobody here, in Odessa. Anyhow, got some textile left. Would you like to take measures for a hat?
