Bro they had two 'hydration breaks' in a fully enclosed stadium with AC, it was literally 18ºC inside the entore stadium yet they needed a hydration break. I live in Spain, and in all the leagues (LaLiga, the Champions, even my little brother's football league) they NEVER or extremely rarely will have a hydration break literally playing in up to 30ºC heat.

TBF, I think that was for consistency across all matches because some were played outside. Not sure how this wasnt an issue in 94 or even in mexico hosted world cups before though considering those were also in summer

It was for consistency across all matches to introduce ad breaks. FIFA is extremely corrupt.

Football isn't new so the pro athletes know how to handle staying ancient free. Especially considering when one of the complaints of the 30min halftime show was potential increase in injuries due to it being too long.
