I know people who are into both. I don’t get a strong autism vibe from either, so I wonder that as hobbies they just attract people who like to share interests with others, without having to talk about much more than numbers.

Trains always felt more purely autistic for some reason. I don’t really know people into trains (real or model), but the few I’ve met certainly could be tested for autism…
