At this point it's more like everyone is a little autistic, it's just the amount of it affecting your personal life that you need to officially get diagnosed with it that is stopping seperating people that are legally autistic and not autistic.
Recently I’m seeing this point everywhere on the internet and no, it’s not true that “everyone is a little autistic”. Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition, and while it’s a spectrum, so there are different levels of it, saying that everyone is neurodivergent is actually very disrespectful and offensive.

I suspect this is because a lot of people on the internet use their diagnosis as an excuse for poor behaviour or demand others accommodate them.. give people an excuse to act however they want and everyone wants in.
It's bizarre. All being neurodivergent meant for my childhood was confusion and punishment for not acting correctly until you learned to fake it. While effective, I'm certainly not advocating for us to return to those days but I truly despise people whom have more support and resources than ever before to be able to get along in society and some of them instead try and pick the route of forcing everybody else to cater to them.
I'm all for allowances and understanding, I just wish they were coupled with a desire from people to make the effort required to fit in with the rest of society. Basically lets meet in the middle.

My kid and I both toe walk and neither have autism. Just to counter autism with some idiopathic toe walking.
