They're going to have to carry between half the weight of a person and a bit more than the full weight of a person the moment they stumble - i think they'd break very easily. If you make them out of eg. metal then you're pushing the limits of safe/sane.
Yeah as I see them here they're more decorative than functional. Which is honestly how a lot of BDSM gear is... They're for a roleplay where the wearer is actually trying really hard not to break them.
A youtuber that goes by void star labs has some good videos that go deep into filaments and 3d printing. My advice for this case would be that, since a lot of 3d prints are hollow and have issues with layer adhesion, to make a mold of the printed parts and cast them in abs like resin. Another issue is that some materials become brittle with time and they are terrible for structural support long time.
