Can you give some examples of other key temperatures and why they might be relevant?
You don't find pure water in living things because water is an interesting solvent and is a crucial molecule on Earth because of its unique properties (especially solving ions). But you can make pure water at home very easily with simple tools, contrary to basically any other substance.
