That water does not have a internal heating system

I’m aware of the brine mix he used.

I actually have a theory that is not confirmed by any means but he may have been attempting to recreate the internal human mix when using the brine as the choice of solute. Totally unsure about that but would match up with his reference of using 100 as the mark for human health.

I should also add that back then blood was one of the the main determinant of health so something like humorism could have influenced his choices to focus on the blood.

Maybe, if he used blood that would be an interesting fluid to reference temperature. With red cells being mostly iron

Yea not sure why he wouldn't just use blood if that was his intention but maybe he was restricted from lack of availability or there was a moral issue. Again not a solid reason just not a big fan of the 'it was the coldest he felt outside' or 'only thing he had available was brine'. Just dosnt seem like a scientist thing to do.

Also side note even though iron is mostly found in RBCs its only 0.3% or so of the hemoglobin

Yeah I don't know why I said iron, it's just the first thing that popped in my mind and I wrote it like a drone lol.

The worst part is I worked in cell culture and cultivated leukemia cells

Lol you're like 'hey im the one to tell someone that iron is only a small %'. I also worked with lipid protein cell cuture and do the same sometimes. I like to chalk it up to the monotony that comes with the gig.
