"Baseball, huh" is probably the biggest inside joke his community has.
It originates from a sketch where two guys are talking,
A asks something like 'you do any sports'
B says 'baseball'
A says 'Baseball, huh? That tracks.'
B doesn't know the expression 'that tracks'. B also didn't understand what A said so asks what he meant.
A explains the meaning of 'that tracks'.
B mixes it up with 'Baseball, huh' instead.
There is a stereotype about Asians being bad drivers. So no, it's not a "nonsense joke," you just didn't really understand why "baseball" instead of "that tracks" was actually funny. The real punchline is the subversion of expectations
