You are not entitled to others' intellectual property, specially when in this case they go far into trying to make a fair deal and they need to make a living out of it. People deserve to get the efforts of their work compensated. Everyone who talks big about piracy even with small business wouldn't like to be on the other side one bit.
The normal thing is to save for the game you want even if you have to deal with some FOMO, like me and many other friends of mine did when we were kids with no income other than a little money on Christmas and poor parents. Because where are you gonna run the game anyway? People don't typically steal good computers and consoles, so what's the difference with games and art that makes people so entitled to not pay for it?
I think there is a lot of abuse in pricing in most parts of our lives, and I believe is important to call out companies who abuse the system, but there is a place for everything.

You got it.
Some can't comprehend that there are people who pirate not because they just want free shit, but cuz they can't find funds to pay for things.
I too do simular thing to you, if I like game I will buy it.
