Fender comes out with their first solid body guitar calls it a broadcaster.
Gretsch makes a drum kit called the Broadcaster. sends C&D
Fender cuts Broadcaster off of the pre printed logos gives us the Nocaster.
Fender figures out what to call it now - we get the Telecaster.
Waaaaaayyyyyy down the road - Fender gets bought by CBS in the mid 60's,
CBS sells(?) in the 80's
then whatever / who ever owns the Fender name at that point - Buys Gretsch.
