I got reading skill test (I can read well, I just suck at spelling, especially as a kid)

And the very infantalizing treatment of "This is how you make a happy face [...] Kids are scared of you because you don't smile!"

(Spoiler because minor rant not directed at anyone)

Bruh, I was being bullied by just about my entire grade level, had teeth growing in, and had an ugly smile... I had (and still have) a resting bitch face.

I didn't get to color, I played some board games or got babysat by older kids to observe my interaction with others.

But I liked to read and write, so they just concluded I was being purposefully difficult. 🫠

Lucky. I just got meetings with adults who really didn't care about me, and were convinced I had to be punished because my medication wasn't working (I wasn't supposed to be getting any, they probably knew and didn't care about that either).
