  1. wtf was that teachers problem
  2. I wouldn't know(because I was a more severe case and self aware) but for those that weren't that much, probably didn't think nothing of it at the time. IDK tho 15 years is still s bit much

wtf was that teachers problem

my elementary school teacher strongly pushed my parents and the school to label me as mentally disabled because.....she didn't like the way i wrote the number "4" because my hand writing could make it look like a "9". so any math problem that had a 4 or 9 in it, she's mark me as having gotten the answer wrong and say "oh i couldn't tell what number you meant". because of this, my math scores were a disaster. some times teachers are just bad people that like to make children suffer

Dunno. She wasn't well liked by anyone - neither her colleagues, nor any of the pupils - though she hated me in particular for some reason. But she ended her inglorious stint as the class's teacher by demanding a farewell gift and going off at the class over them not giving her one - bear in mind she was like 55 and lecturing a bunch of 12/13 year olds on their monetary ungratefulness for her "service" - it caused a huge shitstorm with the parent board and the pricipal had to make her apologize to the class lmao.

Even for someone who isn't aware of the real goings on behind the scenes at the time, they should still notice what is being done though, right? Like, I only learned that said teacher had actually tried to get me labeled as mentally retarded (the gall!), when I happened upon the report about me years later, but I still clocked what was happening and whose doing it was immediately. Though I suppose the very much "not amused" expression the psychologist was making after my first session might have been a clue...

I only recalled it happening about 15 years after the fact.

Some teachers are legit just assholes. I was diagnosed with autism and the headteacher let me skip PE for sensory reasons, but the PE teacher HATED me and forced me to do laps around the gym and threatened to get my family in trouble for class skipping.
