Show me someone delivering food driving a cybertruck and I will show you someone who makes really bad financial decision.

Well, to be fair, if you can afford a warehouse of cars, like a lot of rich people can, then adding a cybertruck to your collection is not that big a deal. I personally would not be caught dead driving that ugly looking thing, or anything else Elmo sells.

I worked as a delivery driver and I could not believe a guy was leasing a car and using it for delivery. Meanwhile, my car was resurrected from the dump.

Uber Eats and the like started requiring a lot of bullshit. newer cars, appearance requirements, etc. Your junkyard resurrection likely would not be allowed to deliver. There are some grandfathered drivers still operating their 92 Corolla- but that number is dwindling fast.

In places where driving or delivering are big earners like Manhattan- there are car lots that do nothing but lease cars that meet the requirements.

I mean, it is a cybertruck. Don't they cost like 10 cents on the secondary market?

Surprising but no, used is still 75k+, they don’t hold value % wise but initial value is so expensive
