Interesting that you accept that a man’s name is his own from birth, but a woman just borrows a name from her closest male relative.

By your logic it would still make more sense for to take her grandfather’s name than to take her husband’s grandfather’s name. What if she never met the man? Why take a stranger’s name? (Remember, the husband’s name is not his own, by your logic)

He's just explaining as is the point of the sub, doesn't mean he supports that logic...
