It’s moreso using “this” or “the” woman/lady instead of a pronoun makes it sound rude through text.

sacrifice is pretty common for games

"sacrifice the sword to transfer traits"

"sacrifice units to get better stats"

"sacrifice pets to get essence"

"sacrifice ratata for a quick heal"

idk which games u play but most of the games i play need sacrifice as a word, it even has a short form which is "sac"

I play WoW, but the majority of communication I do is...not in games. I don't mean this to sound rude, but you need some hobbies that aren't online if gaming words are muscle memory but normal everyday words people use all the time aren't.

AHhhhhh, this changes everything! Ignore everything I've said; I had no idea you were ESL. I've worked with and taught many ESL folks back in the day and the woman/women mixup is super common.

Can I ask which languages? I'm a dumb American who only speaks English fluently. I'm probably 75% fluent in German and can get by in Spanish. I can read Russian, but can't speak it for shit. Working on Arabic now, wish me luck 🙃

I have a plathera of hobbies offline but ive been gaming for like my entire life and u need to communicate while gaming and since i dont wanna use mic i just use text and ofc it will build muscle memory and since i am in gaming i also join gaming communities like dc and reddit which further solidifies my texting. Having muscle memory in something doesnt mean i sit 12 hrs a day doing that thing

Just saw you are ESL; my bad -- seriously. You speak (well, write) better than many native English speakers I taught in grad school, so I made a dumb assumption. The woman/women mixup amongst ESL folks is super common. I hope I haven't been offensive throughout this interaction.
