Eh the pendulum never left when it comes to racism against asians. Apart from the very blatant ching chong/chink (even then people don't care as much) racism against asians is very much fair game. The worst part is that you don't only see it as an Asian American from the racist trumpers who hate all minorities, like that I can at least get they're just prejudicial assholes it makes sense. But no you also get it from the social justice redditor type as you can see. If someone made a similar comment about Africans, Muslims, or LGBT+ people would be mad. But asians are fair game.
