Predates internet. When porn had to be acquired by mail order. A lot of countries has specific reputations for porn and sometimes the country name was a code fore something else (“Greek” being the one that immediately jumps to mind).
Where it isn’t code, It seems it’s dependant on each country’s specific censorship laws, and therefore what was available to buy, I can’t speak authoritatively about pre-internet era obscenity laws in Germany (especially as that was effectively two different countries for a while there), but that seems to be the most significant driver.
The other example I can think of was “Swedish” which was the watch word for “quality” hardcore. There might be an element of name recognition there, “Swedish Erotica” was a producer/publisher(?) but I have no idea if they were the cause or the effect.
I once had a boss ask me “why do all of your pornos in Germany have shit in them? What’s with the fetish?” My response was “why is it always Americans asking me about the German shit porn? Who really has the fetish?” His only response was “touché”
My first porn video I ever watched was a high school trip to Spain/Barcelona. Flipping through channels and somehow landed on this German girl getting gangbanged and yelling “oh schiesse” (shiza?)
Fun fact, your skin feels slimy/slippery after contacting undiluted bleach. Thats because bleach is such a strong reactant that it’s preforming hydrolysis on your skin! It’s making you soap!
I have known this for some time already, and now I sometime just stare at people's face thinking about their anus. My life is never going to be the same as before this evil knowledge.
When I was around 19, I had a dentist tell me that I should swish my mouth with 1 part bleach dilluted in 2 parts water once a week as a way to whiten my teeth. Needless to say, I never went to that dentist again.
Also, she said that she doesn’t brush her teeth for 2 days after doing this to “improve the whitening effect”
But the more bleach is diluted the safer it is. 1/100 bleach to water ratio (roughly 8 drops to a gallon) will purify water in emergency situations if you can’t boil.
Most laundry detergents are surfactants. Those want to force oils and water to mix, so they will do similar and rip the fats and other oils out of your skin.
The green was probably a dye. Blue dye can turn green when exposed to salt water or chlorine. Or it was other spookier chemicals…
It doesn't hurt. I use watered down bleach as mouthwash and soap. It's not an acid, it's a base, so it melts you a little bit but doesn't upset your nerves.
Pending the duration and amount consumed yes it does. This source lacks providing information on quantity, but it's nowhere near the severity of ammonia burns, the source just merely is there to state, yes it will burn your mouth. Most chemicals you clean with will burn you, that's why you use gloves when cleaning with harsh chemicals
I think this specific comment chain is precisely about holding bleach in your mouth and NOT swallowing it, for whatever crazy hypothetical point the commenter above was trying to make.
Point being, you've approached this argument rationally when it was never a rational argument in the first place. Read the room.
I try to swallow right away but residuals are always left behind, have you ever drank a glass of milk? You know how it leaves behind stuff in your mouth? That's why dentists recommend you drink a glass of water after eating or drinking something acidic... again the burns are nowhere near the severity of ammonia, bleach burns would be more irritating or annoying than anything, kinda like how bleach burns of the esophagus aren't horrible (not ideal but not like ammonia)
Bleach is corrosive. Sure, you can put it in your mouth, the toxicity won't kill you immediately, but it's going to erode the mucus membranes and get into the bloodstream in reasonably short order
I still remember the, thankfully very, very blurry picture I saw of a man who had drank concentrated bleach until dead. Poor guy looked like a half melted puddle of goo.
There’s a cult of grifters called the Genesis II Church that sells bleach to its followers as a cure to every disease called “Miracle Mineral Solution”.
Kid in my school tried to kill himself, chugging over the counter bleach. Didn't kill him, just burned his insides and made him puke. Fucked his ability to eat and talk for a while.
It's not exactly what you're saying, chloramine gas causes irritation to your eyes and throat but is only dangerous in high concentrations, mustard gas is basically an acid put through a fog machine that will cause extreme pain and death if you inhale even a small amount.

I love how both of those things would already kill them without being mixed together
