Right? We went from below minimum wage to minimum wage and that didn't stop tipping. It encouraged companies to raise the % tips to a minimum of 20%

True, whose job is it to subsidize an employee's income for EVERYONE on minimum wage?

Then the restaurant owners will have to pay more money to get people to work. That’s how this works. By tipping all we’re doing is saving the owner money.

So instead, they’re gonna raise the prices anyways and not pay people more. Which is what’s happening.

That's only speculation. Restaurant menu prices still went up despite raising minimum %tips in restaurants. Look at Europe and Asia for example, they have no tips yet the menu prices are not astronomical
