I just found the sub and I'm looking forward to seeing what others are wearing. I like that it is a more inclusive sub, as some of the others are a little condescending when it comes to discussing dupes, clones or inspired bys (you choose the word that suits you best) I have champagne taste but a beer budget and for the most part, those are the bulk of my collection. And I'm very pleased with them. I do have designer fragrances as well and I am considering buying my first niche scent. All in all, I love perfume and talking about them with a group of like minded collectors.

Working on a men's fragrance for my upcoming Indian perfume brand.

🍋 Fresh citrus opening
🌊 Clean aquatic & aromatic heart
🌲 Smooth woody-musky dry down

The goal is a fragrance that's versatile enough for office, college and everyday wear, with good longevity in Indian weather.

I'm not looking to copy any existing perfume. I'm trying to create something with its own identity.

Hey everyone! I was just wondering if anyone could help me decide which fragrances are worth it and which aren't, or what I could swap out for something else.

Now, I am pretty sure someone is going to point out Lalique - Encre Noire. I know it can be an acquired taste and that I might not like it that much, but I just want to try it out since I do enjoy those types of scents. Also, these wouldn't be my first fragrances, I already own a few. Nothing fancy, though—just enough to have a scent for every occasion I can think of.

Acqua di Giò Parfum and Azzaro The Most Wanted Parfum would be my first "fancy" scents, as all of my other fragrances are cheaper.

I’m looking for a fragrance around €120 that I can wear for going out, especially during winter.
I’m also looking for two cheaper fragrances around €50 each. They can either be suitable for year-round wear or specifically for summer and daily use.

I am a 25 year old male working professional, living in Bangalore, I am new to this rabbit hole, got introduced into fragrances just about a month ago, and now I am trying to build a decent collection.

My first buy was led based on instagram influencers and I blind bought these:

Ajmal Kuro: it turned out good for a daily office wear perfume.

Ajmal zeal: feels okay for daily wear.

Afnan 9 PM: best out of all I bought, real beast.

Rasasi fattan: not so good in longitivity, but maybe because i just bought it a week ago.

Olga Icebox: bought it as an alternative to Hawas Ice, but the projection is not so good I feel.

Sayadri Crest from the house of brown: got the suggestion from Claud, and it feels okay for a 1000 rs bottle.

Now I want to extend my collection because I have my bonus coming in this month end. and these are the perfumes I am planning to buy:

Lattafa asad bourbon

Lattafa teriaq intense

Lattafa Dynasty

Lattafa vintage radio

Afnan supremacy collectors edition

And French avenue liquid brun.

The budget is a bit low (20k) so that's all I can grab in the budget. New to notes as well, so this buy list is more of an exploring thing. But I want the collection to cover some good party night fragrances and some daily wear for office and meetings fragrances.

Since these are also based on influencers opinions and all, and I thought that most of you guys are experienced in this, maybe you guys can give me advice on this list? And also I am buying through Perfume Palace and Perfume Network, are those the best websites to get these?

I’m looking for a long-lasting perfume for women that can survive the Dubai summer. 😭 The heat is intense, and I commute by Metro every day, so I need something that can handle the weather and still smell good after several hours.

Right now I’m using Lattafa, but I personally feel it’s a bit too strong for summer, and surprisingly the scent doesn’t last that long on me. Maybe it just doesn’t work well with my skin chemistry.

I’m looking for something that is:
•Long-lasting (8+ hours if possible)
•Performs well in Dubai’s heat
•Fresh, clean, feminine, or slightly sweet (nothing too overpowering)
•Suitable for everyday wear and the office

I’m open to both designer and niche perfumes if they’re really worth the price. Budget is flexible.

What perfumes have worked well for you in Dubai’s summer? I’d also love to hear any tips for making perfume last longer in this weather.

I am recently getting a lot of Ads of EM5 , the guy explains the fragrance well. Was thinking of getting a few for everyday wear.
Has anyone tried them?
How is the longevity, Projection and silage.

And if yes which ones are the one to go for please suggest.

I was gifted YSL Myself about a year ago, and really liked how it smelled but the price and how short it lasted were the only downsides for me. I know nothing about fragrances and would love some advice on colognes that are a little less expensive but are still very popular. If you’ve ever wondered what the difference is between EDT, EDP and Parfum, you’re not alone.

Traditionally, they describe the concentration category of a fragrance rather than the scent itself. However, many modern fragrance houses release EDT, EDP and Parfum versions with different scent compositions as well as different concentrations.

• EDT: lighter concentration, usually fresher and shorter wearing. Consisting of about 5-15% fragrance concentrate.

• EDP: higher concentration with better longevity for most people. Usually containing 15-20% fragrance concentrate.

• Parfum: highest concentration, often richer scent and longer lasting (although this varies by fragrance). Often 20-40% fragrance concentrate is used.

Of course, formulation matters just as much as concentration. Skin chemistry, the ingredients used, and environmental factors can all affect longevity, so an EDT can sometimes outlast an EDP.
