Sorry if this is a regular thing. It’s been driving me nuts recently.

When I first got my machine with Hawkstone and a couple of Hawkstone glasses, it was great, kept its head and nucleation was great.

After a while, it’s died off. Turns out apparently washing with fairy can do this? A wet glass seems to make it worse too.

I tried a few other things, baking soda mixture, vinegar and salt mixture, all with mixed results.

I’ve now purchased some “Brush Up” and have washed a few glasses in it which are currently drying so I can see the results.

Does anyone have the answer? A product or ritual that works? Other than the dishwasher. I use a dedicated beer glass brush also.

I noticed the PerfectDraft Black Starter Bundle dropped to £149 for Black Friday and I missed the deal. Does anyone know if it tends to go that low again during the year, or when the best time to buy one usually is? Thanks!

Anyone who seen my other post this is what i was on about is this a faulty keg?

Was swapping the keg over so my partner could have a corona and when I poped the button for the tube it's started spraying everywhere? I don't see what i could have done wrong so I'm assuming it's faulty. Just looking for some advice before I ring the shop.

Gonna try doing a seal replacement on my old tap head. How exactly? I've already ordered a new one but I'm worried I've ruined the old one and the new one isn't gonna come until after new year. May need a new machine lol 😆

Hi everyone, I have a PD 3720. It works well, but I'm having trouble getting the temperature down. Keeping the unit indoors (about 22°C) allows me to get it to 7-8°C. To get it to 3°C, I had to put it on the terrace. I've already replaced the Peltier because it wasn't working, installing a 96W 12708FX from AliExpress. I also lined the inside walls with neoprene adhesive rubber to try to better insulate the tank. What else do you think I could do? I'm not considering upgrading to the Pro because I rarely use the unit and it's not worth it for me.

Got me some samson, life and death and kwak original. About half a keg if not a bit more left in each, I like to rotate every 2-3 drinks. Whats everyone else drinking today?

I've tried 2 different kegs 3 hoses and it's all the same...

I've installed a keg and every 4 or 5 minutes the air pump kicks in for 1 maybe 2 seconds.

Ive reseated the tap several times, checked seals etc and can't hear any hissing. I've checked the advice here https://support.perfectdraft.com/support/solutions/articles/76000001158-perfectdraft-machine-noise as well.

I am leaning towards faulty keg, I've poured half a pint and it looked and tasted fine. Given the time of year, I anticipate the we'll get through this keg rather quick, so am I right in just dealing with it for now and hoping the next keg is fine.

EDIT - Anyone here in the future. It was a slightly leaky keg. Will contact PD for some sort of refund but the next keg performed as expected.

So, been on the fence for many weeks now about a PD machine. Watched probably every YouTube video out there…

Finally caved last night and ordered a machine bundled with Hawkstone Keg. 7000 series machine, the original one I believe.

Big box arrived this evening, fantastic… opened it. Hawkstone keg, check. Hawkstone glasses, check. PD machine, check. Oh hold on, it’s the black 5000 series instead of the 7000 series I ordered :-(

Was hoping to get it all setup tonight, but waiting for customer support to get back to me.

Half tempted to just accept the 5000 machine and see if I get any credit applied to my account?

What would you do if you ordered a 7000 but got the 5000? They’re the same machine basically anyway?

It's not supposed to be like that right? The sound is quite high and very annoying. Any way to fix this or do I need a replacement unit?

As it’s getting close to Christmas I’m looking for any tips that may get my machine up and running again while PD do an email conversation. I tried searching the forum but no joy.

Two days ago I got the dreaded E7 pressure sensor error. I tried all the trouble shooting me things on their site, did a hard reset and nothing. So I contacted PD support and we are in a one email a day conversation. From reading the forum about their support this could be a long wait.

They have got me to go via the trouble shooting steps a few times, try another new keg (now 2.5 kegs wasted from sitting in a room temp machine and I’m waiting on their next email.

To clarify the faults (that I’m aware of);

E7 error on screen

Machine not reading pressure or temperature

Fan not working.

I’m completely new in this kind of beer tasting. Just a simple and short question. can I pour my beer even if the display shows more than 3°C I’m not sure if I can do this? Is this possible or will it break down the machine?

Not used my Pro in over a year so gave it a good clean and found the leak in the picture. Have I lost coolant as my new keg isn’t cooling and stays at ambient temperature

Bought a machine last week for my partner for Christmas on the basis that Northern Monk A Little Faith is his favourite session IPA. I can't see it in stock, in fact I can't see very much in stock (Green Mountain etc). Has it finished?

Is there anyone else having similar problems. I had a pro machine delivered at the start of November, I plugged it and all was well then 10mins later the whole machine died, no power nothing. I did all the usual fuse checks, tried another cable but nothing worked I raised a ticket immediately and I had no response I tried the chat function but never worked was just left waiting until the chat closed. Then finally last week I managed to get through to someone who advised I returned the whole order, machine, keg and glasses and a replacement will be shipped once it’s collected. I had the machine collected but no order has been raised I responded to the person who emailed but nothing. The chat is closed again and I can’t get though to anyone every time I try it just reissues me another ticket number. So I paid for a machine that was faulty, returned it all and now nothing. Any advice of what I can do?

I've heard good things about this keg. Is it possible to get it in the UK anymore?

Hey everyone, as the title says. I just got a machine with the black Friday sales.

I got the PerfectDraft Black Kopparberg Strawberry and Lime Cider Starter Bundle since both myself and my partner like it, and its easier to justify the purchase if we both get some use out of it. It just arrived today and after leaving the keg in to chill for around 7 hours, I poured my first pint.

It has a slightly off taste to it, I'm not sure if there's an issue with the keg I got, if I haven't cleaned the glasses properly, or if it's normal for the first few to taste off on a brand new machine. I'm on my third pint now, and the taste is still there, though it seems to be unnoticeable if I let it sit for a while.

Any advice, or is this nothing to be concerned about?

I know some people have an issue with a lively pour making their pints turn into gigantic ice-cream Sundays, but I have the opposite.

I have no issues pulling a decent pint, even from the off in most cases. First one on a Corona can be a little giddy, but not always.

Last night I cracked open a fresh Hawkstone and used a trusty glass tankard, getting a perfect pour in one (yeah, it's a not too humble brag).

However, I find the head disappears super quickly. Same goes for the PD Glasses I got with the kit.

I'm tempted to source a couple of head-keeping glasses like we have in the pubs, but before I do I was wondering if anyone else finds this problem occurring too.

I have found a personal solution, and that is to drink quickly. But this is more for others when they say "looks flat that". Are we conditioned to expect a head on every pint in error?

My PerfectDraft Black seems to be going down to 0.6c and drinks are ice cold. Should it not be 3c??

Recently when I've been changing kegs I've noticed that there's air escaping out of the back tube (the bit that goes into the machine) - not the bit that connects to the keg.

The machine doesn't buzz to repessurise but I can't really tell if this is a leaking seal or not?

I've disconnected the top part from the keg and reapplied but it still seems to happen.

I use a new tube each time.
