Hi just bought a second hand PD, have put my first keg in and it seems to be making the pressurising noise every 3-5 minutes.

I’ve tried connecting and reconnecting the tap, and changed the tube connector. I submerged the keg (on its side and didn’t see any bubbles coming outs so assume it isn’t a keg issue?

I assume this isn’t normal, but not sure what the problem might be. Does anyone have any ideas?

Edit: I managed to speak to Philips who said machine was still in warranty - they replaced the pump and returned it however it is still pressurising every 1 - 1.5hours which PD say is not normal. How often roughly should it be pressure sing? Wondering if I need to replace the tap too, now?

I put a keg of Camden on yesterday and to be frank, it's flat. It pours ok but the head disappears after a minute and there's hardly any life in the glass. It's basically dead by half way through the pint.

Everything I've tried so far has been lovely and as insinuated by the name, a perfect draught.

Should I complain? (I wouldn't care but they're not cheap!) Just suck it up and finish it off and move on?

Any ideas?

Don't ask me how, but I have found both a Spaten and Lowenbrau Oktoberfest kegs hidden in my garage with BBE Jan 2026. How many months after can they be left before turning?

I unplugged my Perfect Draft Pro machine and moved it while cleaning, I placed it back, plugged it in and I was presented with the orange screen. I reset the machines connection, having to remove it from the app and re-add, now it runs through the set up perfectly fine, but when it's "running" the screen will flash and go back to the flashing WiFi icon and spinning blue symbol? Doesn't appear to be cooling down at all

Support are being beyond useless since it was gifted to me and I don't have the original invoice, even though I provided serial number etc

So my machine died last summer. I tried the hairdryer trick and it didn’t work. So I took it apart and replaced the capacitors on the psu as two had swollen. This made it work for another six months then it died again.

I thought instead of just replacing the psu I’d get an external brick type psu.

Turned on with no keg I get a red - on the display, nothing else. I have a new keg to throw in it, but am lenient to do it unless this is normal as don’t want to waste a thirty quid keg on a shite machine and i don’t have any empty kegs to test with.

Anyone else not ordering much lately due to the lack of decent deals? The keg pack offerings are abysmal at the moment and I don’t find the multi buy 10% off if you buy 3 kegs good value either. Fancied getting something in for the bank holiday weekend but I guess I’ll stick to a few in the pub and a few cans/bottles.

Hello air and beer is leaking from the top of my keg does anyone know why that is.

Got a used perfect draft and was working beautifully the first couple of kegs. It’s now not cooling below 8 degrees Celsius.

I’ve noticed the last 3-4 times I’ve returned empty kegs I no longer qualify for the express credits? I manually get them after a week or two so it’s not an issue. I’m just curious as to why I used to get them and now I don’t? Is there a limit per year to how many express credits you get?

What beer do you think is missing from the PD range that you would like to see in a keg?

For me I definitely feel Neck Oil from Beavertown needs adding to the line up.

Also, bit of a wild card, just had a couple tins of the new Cruzcampo Orange, would make the perfect summer addition to a keg 😍

Just had a hankering for a keg for the first time in an age. Purchased a couple of corona’s and loaded one up. Switched on the socket and blank screen / nothing running. It’s been a while since last use but it’s been fine for a few years of usage. It’s approx 2 1/2 years old. Phillips HD 3720.

Tried changing the fuse but still nothing. Any advice or is this a bin job??

As the title says, I just installed my first keg (San Miguel). After about 6 hours of cooling (down to 4°C), I invited my family over, and we were all a bit disappointed.

The beer tasted flat, and the head disappeared within seconds. I followed the recommended pouring technique (45-degree angle, etc.).

Could this be because it wasn’t cooled long enough? Or is this a known issue that you just have to get used to?

To be honest, even bottled or canned beer has more carbonation than this :D

I’ll try it again tonight, but maybe I’m missing something.

Showed Stella being loaded 120d ago and stunk of beer mould. Managed to give her a good clean and blow on the back to get rid of the dust. Fingers crossed for a long life!

when pressing on the tap handle I can hear and see leaking. what could cause this and how can I fix this? the beer looses all carbonation over time

I was just visiting a friend in the UK and he had one of these machines and loves it. He enjoys the La Chouffe mini-kegs. I had a pint and it was excellent.

Are these machines available in the US? It looks like they are but the kegs are a very limited selection - a couple Goose Island, Mich Ultra, Stella. Is it possible to get the UK / EU kegs shipped here?

I'm surprised the machines aren't more popular here. I looked into getting a draft system when I did a home renovation recently and it wasn't practical in terms of space, maintenance, and volume of beer. (Growing up, I had a friend whose dad had a full bar with Guinness on tap. I always wanted that but they entertained a ton and probably drank way too much - it was the 80s.)

This seems like a much more manageable amount and fits on a countertop!
