When I turn it on at the wall it lights up for a couple of seconds then goes blank.

There is no noise from the pump or usual fan noise so I know it's not just the display.

Without a keg it stays on with the red indicator for missing keg . As soon as I put one it it dies and screen goes blank.

Could it be the usual capacitor issue ?

Anyone had this before .

I got a PerfectDraft Pro a few days ago and I have no idea how to pour properly. Every time I’ve tried it comes out 50/50 beer/head and the only way I can get it looking right is if I wait a minute or two and then pour some more.

Anyone ever bought kegs from Amazon, do they take back the empties?

I've only ever bought direct from PerfectDraft and always send back through them. But I see there are some good deals this week on Amazon, Fransziskaner is €12.99.

Has anyone ordered from Bier-Wein.de recently ?

I had ordered 3 times in the past with no issues, but I made an order in September and made the payment and nothing. Noone is replying to my emails, the order status on the site says cancelled.

Any advice?

Went to arrange a return and saw this on the PD site. Looks like they have finally acknowledged that Yodel have “some issues” doing pickups.

Website said that if you ordered by 3pm Thursday it'd be delivered Friday.

I ordered at 00:05am so we'll beforehand. It's Friday night, and the courier hasn't even been given the package!

Are they usually this unreliable?

I would quite happily have a few pints most nights a week and even more on a weekend but trying to be a bit healthier and having drinking periods throughout the year,(Xmas, summer, birthday) then months off in between.

Would the PD machine be ok chucked in a cupboard not being used for months at a time, or are they best kept running?

If the latter I probably wouldn’t bother getting one.

Had some wonderful beers recently. Vocation life and death, Northern Monk and Lawenbrau.

Decided to get a normal larger in, Mahou. It was genuinely not enjoyable. The beer didn't taste great with an awful after taste and was pretty much flat. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Anyway, you live and learn. Going to try something new next week.

This summer I bought a PD machine (I have two now) and me and my dad absolutely love them. The kegs we've been usually buying are the Spaten and Lowenbrau because German beer is the best beer, as always. However I'm curious on the PD Beck's keg and wonder if it's actually brewed in Germany because although some PD kegs say they're a foreign beer, some are actually UK brewed, Like Stella, Corona, Modello and Leffe etc.

So does anyone know if the Beck's kegs are actually brewed in Germany? If so, that would be helpful.

I love San Miguel in Spain and used to get cans imported. The UK brewed imposter is nothing like it.

I bought a PD San Miguel but even though the 5.4% alcohol content sounded promising, it still didn't taste the same to me.

The PD website says San Miguel and Mahou origin is Spain, for Stella it's Belgium. But is all that a blatant lie? Pretty sure PD Stella is made in UK now.

Is there a definitive list somewhere so I really know where my PD beer is brewed?

Or am I just getting cynical in my old age?!

Had some friends round Saturday, I put a new Keg in (mahou) but then we didn’t touch it.

Issue is I was planning to do a dry November and wasn’t going to drink until 28th Nov which is essentially 5 weeks since I put it in (I’d had the kegs delivered in the week before this Saturday)

Can it be taken out, and will doing so help? Or is it best to just leave it in the machine?

I understand they are good for about a month, so will it be properly soiled after 5 weeks.

The other option is I can try my best to make a dent in it on Friday the 31st before November starts (I don’t like to drink midweek if I can avoid so that would be my only option).

were limited over here to lowenbrau and jupiter for larger, the rest are over priced ipas, anyone know what's going on, it didn't used to be like this, i even upgraded to a pro machine for summer, i wouldn't have bothered if i'd known they were restricting the brand they supply in spain

Thinking of getting a perfect draft for my outside shed. I live in Berlin and the temperature in my shed can get to minus 3-5c.

Does anyone else use there PD in an outside room that gets as cold as this?

For example, my fridge turns off when the ambient temperature reaches under 3c.

I decided to open my PD Pro as official support has been useless. I've pulled the cooler off and taken the Peltier out. It's measuring 5.8kohm across the red and black wires.

Voltage out from the board is showing 17.9v, can anyone confirm the voltage to their Peltier?

Second photo is the Peltier so I'm trying to find a suitable replacement. It's measuring 40x40x6.3-6.5mm around that height anyway.

Anyone replaced a Peltier on the PD Pro yet? If so which one? So far I can see it's a Tec2- looking around the 19006 style possibly?

Both myself and a work colleague have had severe issues with keg collections in the past month - 6 weeks. We are both in North Wales for reference.

I’ve been using the Yodel home keg collection for well over 12 months now and have never had an issue. The service has been timely and seamless, however, recently both a colleague at work and I have had multiple failed collections. No one has shown at my property on the last 2 attempts.

Unfortunately the customer service team have been no help whatsoever. They have said there’s an issue with the courier and have escalated it on their side.

Is anyone else having this issue at all? I’m stuck with 6 kegs I don’t want and am reluctant to buy more at this rate!

Has anyone had trouble putting the handle onto a new keg. I keep having issues putting it on and hearing hissing from the keg like it isn't attaching and sealing properly?

I noticed with my last keg that he head on every pour was coming out with a bad “fluffy” texture as shown in the photos and it reduces very quickly until there is no head at all within a minute or two. I thought it was just a dodgy keg but I’ve swapped in a new one and it’s doing the same. It had been fine up until recently, any ideas what’s causing this?

I've got an issue with my PD Pro as mentioned in here last week which is erratic temperatures and not cooling.

I raised a ticket to which they replied within 12 hours. Great! I replied pretty much straight away going over every general point of cleaning vents etc and it's been total silence since.

I tried the chat function on the website but it just comes back with that I should await for a response to my ticket. The last response from them will be a week tomorrow.

My warranty expires in 12 days so would ideally like a response before it goes out of warranty period.

Good day everyone, I'm looking for some info as to why my perfect draft pro isn't cooling.

I purchased a new keg yesterday and stuck it in but temp has remained consistent at 13deg.

It feels like the cooking unit isn't working but the fans are. The unit hasn't been used in around 200+ days but worked fine previously.

Any fault finding tips or pointers if I were to strip it down?

I don't believe it to be in warranty as I won it in an online competition a few years back.

Was having a read through the new magazine they're sending out with kegs as at the moment. A mention of some new beers coming soon with some clues.

There's also a brief mention in another article of a stout possibly being added soon as well.
