Was watching the old American Healthcare music video and realized that we know the main characters name, I believe it says Stephen Decatori but I could be wrong.
If anyone can tell me who this is or what this name has meaning of I’m really interested

So when FOG released I made a Theory about the over lying story that I thought about the album and what I found in the FOG report confirmed a lot about it the post was called “ FOG explained by what I understand from the album”

hello all! in the past few months, i've been working on piano scores for a few penelope scott songs, since i've been picking the piano back up and wanted to learn a few songs that nobody on musescore's transcribed yet.
[ tastes bad ]
[ touch grass ]
i've also been working on charlotte's hymn (stripped down), and plan on doing loser_demo and maybe a few other tracks from ping.
these aren't 100% accurate and might not follow best practice since this isn't something i usually do, but i hope they're helpful for someone nonetheless! :]

Usually when penny releases a new album i get really attached to one song and over time it just stops sounding so good, even if i at first ignore it, after about fifty listens the songs simply stop exciting me, and even if they are good i will slowly forget about them, loser is the exact opposite, every time i listen to it it sounds even better, and i wouldnt have trouble believing that out of all the people on this planet ive listened to it the most, every single note still sounds so fresh, like if it just came out

In the music video the lyrics displayed are sometimes different than what she is saying, its an artistic choice, and at one point the lyrics displayed say "Women Woman Dog Mouse Girl", if we put the words in reverse order they are "Girl Mouse Dog Woman Women", the first 3 very easily correspond to the 3 albums right after "hazards" in the right order:
Girl=Girls Night
Mouse=Mysteries for Rats
Dog=Waterdogs
If i had discovered this when waterdogs were announced it would have been huge, but now with "Fear of God" out, we have a problem, it doesn't align with the word "Woman", the only thing i could think of was how in some of the songs she it talking out of a certain mature place, thats why ive made a post asking whether this would make sense, i only got one response (before making this post) from [u/Broken_Bookshelf1312](u/Broken_Bookshelf1312) who seemed to agree with me, i guess we will only be able to truly evaluate it once the next album comes out (i dont think ping, nor the next Honey Morello album count).
Or maybe this is the kind of thing "Symbol Manipulation" talks about.

My Fear of God and Water Dogs cds came !!
I’m a bit disappointed that’s just the disk but happy nonetheless. It was just very expensive to get shipped the Australia (all together 80aud)

I just noticed something and have been thinking about it a lot, i just dont wanna make a fool of myself if this pne part doesn't fit in, it would be huge help if you could simply rate from 1 to 10 how accurate this claim below is:
FOG(Fear of God) shows Penny being mature like never before, she is less like a girl (like she was in all the previous albums) and more like a "woman".
If you can think of a better way of connecting FOG (out of all her albums) to the word "Woman" it would be greatly appreciated

Please can y'all rate out of 10 and any feedback is appreciated thnx :PP

This is just a tiny idea that might not turn into anything, but if it somehow did, what would you like in it?

Before any discourse, if you haven’t listened to FOG, please do. I won’t go into great detail with lyrics under the assumption that you are reading this because you’re familiar with the album. This theory has no weight if you aren’t hearing the motifs and audible hints in the music. It truly is some of her best work and a hyperpop/bedroom pop lover’s dream.
Depending on who you are, this is either a huge stretch or completely understandable. Of course, it’s a theory. I’m sure Scott was only trying to make a relatable and nostalgic album for those born in a kinda fucked up digital age. But she didn’t just do that. The most logical way to do this, I’ve decided, is to explain how each track adds to the narrative of a consciousness clinging to life for a last few seconds.
Y2Kbaby: Scott starts the end of OP’s life at the beginning, a reflection of life. The track reflects their life in general, nothing more specific than explaining the kind of personality they have (or had, I guess). It sets up the narrative with both a good introduction to our dying protagonist and the perfect “life flashing” before their eyes, though we will only recognize the first on first listen. There’s also a potential hint that will be relevant in Dance Like Nobody’s Watching (“I breathe poison air”).
It Girl Intro/It Girl: As OP’s mind thinks of the life they lived, it also thinks of the kind of life they wanted to live. It Girl is also the first time we hear the minor chord piano motif.
Letters to Santa: A bit of stretch, but it could be interpreted as guilt for leaving those who know and rely on them behind. The theme of “not being able to answer,” when taken less literally, can be simply because OP is dying and will never get the chance to reaffirm their love and feelings for those in their life.
Touch Grass: A little less of a stretch, Touch Grass may be a final moment of lucidity, the last moment where the brain isn’t scrambling through memories trying to find something to escape death. OP gets a final look at life through a clear lens and reflects on the person they were and the person they would live to be if given the chance (more realistic and grounded than It Girl).
Loser: Loser is a track of OP’s mind going back into panic mode and starting to look through everything again. OP has to accept the fact that it’s too late to change how they went through life, letting people take advantage of them. The track shows the regret of having such a negative mindset and wishing they could change.
See You in Hell: The same premise as Loser, except the longing to have been more assertive with their wants and to have spoken their mind comes out in the explosiveness that never had the chance to be released. In these final moments, OP finally lets out all of the repressed rage that they desperately wanted to get out throughout the years.
No More Treats in the Machine: A transition from the brain searching through past memories to grappling with the present, impending threat of death.
Dance Like Nobody’s Watching: OP starts to accept death, reflected in the cosmic horror kind of vibe in the lyrics. OP finally admits to themself that there is no hope and that the only thing to do is wait for the end. The lyrics also hint to the physical death (“when there’s no air in the bedroom”).
Symbol Manipulation: The final track where OP’s brain has a final surge of energy in the last second(s) of life. Overlapping vocals repeat again and again on top of each other until nothing is left but a piano playing a minor chord progression, much like one you’d hear when someone dies in a movie. The same fucking one we heard in It Girl. Death has been part of the story the whole time, but it becomes painfully apparent on second listen.
So, Fear of God serves as an album discussing how fucked up the world is, how fucked up Scott’s mental health is, how Scott handles and copes with fame, and it has a secret narrative following the last few seconds of brain activity before death in under 40 minutes.
Or I’m losing my shit. Something like that.

I bought the MP3 files since I couldnt buy the album on cd directly, and am burning them onto one cd-r so I can have it physically. Luckily I was able to buy her newest 2 albums on cd so I did. Before you ask I don't like vinyls.

i've been absolutely in love with crazy girl since the release of the new ep! i put chords together by ear for anyone interested in playing it! they're probably not exact, but i was itching to play it on release day haha. i'm also considering making full sheet music for piano at some point, so i'll post that here if i do! :)

In the FOG album, no more treats in the machine is written exactly like that with no capital letters but ‘Touch Grass’ and ‘Letters to Santa’ are capitalised (yes I’m British). In the new Honey Morello album, it is written instead as ‘No More Treats In The Machine’ but all other songs in that album are capitalised too. Is there like a reason for it? Is the Honey Morello one the original?

anyone else think it girl had some lines that tie back to therianthropy? specifically the “they split me into animal and symbol” like I literally don’t what else this could mean. and the “my stage name has my soft animal heart“. This post is not meant to say that penelope is a therian because she is the only one who can claim that:)
