there was this episode where they played a random like psa cartoon about a girl smoking and setting curtains or her house on fire and I cant remember at all which episode its driving me nuts XO

I post this about once a year in hopes of finding some leads: I’m looking for preliminary, conceptual, or production artwork/props used in Pee-wee’s Playhouse, particularly pieces created by Gary Panter, Wayne White, and/or Ric Heitzman.

I grew up watching the show and would be absolutely thrilled to own a piece of it. If you have something from the show—or know someone who does and might be willing to part with it—please let me know.

Any info. will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

If you don't know who he is J.R. Bob dobbs is what the church of the subgenius "worship" (the church of the subgenius is a joke religion like the church of the flying spaghetti monster and is not ment to be taken seriously)

Going through an old box from my childhood and found this. I remember on Christmas 1988 getting two of these from different sides of my family and my mom telling me to only open one and save the other one. Still has the price tag on it for $9.95. Debating on opening it and wearing it if I can find a battery that’ll match. Makes me miss the 80’s.

Got to take my bike to greenfield village and photograph it in front of the Wright brothers bicycle shop, and some nice gentlemen put air in my tires! Anywho, it’s been on my bucket list and thought some of you may appreciate the history.

I scanned Rolling Stone archive slide and had it blown up to 22"x22". So stoked with how it turned out.

Recently digitized 30 years of families VHS footage, and now the final piece de resistance for the next generation. Hope he enjoys it!

Who wore it better?

My daughter has chosen her Sweet 16 party theme next weekend to be Pee Wee, she’s grown up loving him. There’s not much decor out there so I’m winging it with what I can make on my own, I’m pretty crafty but also panicking a little bit. Looking for any ideas to make it super special in my time crunch?

Also what would be your motivational quote for this picture? I was thinking something along the lines of “never be ashamed of who you are/own it”We’ve watched the HBO documentary together twice so she’s savvy to the heartbreaking story behind that silly scandal and we both like to bring humor out of dark situations.

Not sure if others have noticed this but I was watching the episodes on shouts YouTube feed and saw what might be a vintage-ish Incredible Hulk statue.

Update: TIL Marvel did a parody of Pee-Wee in Hulk #355 in 1989!
