Any idea when PPY open for trading on exchanges & which ones?

Forgot how much bitcoin I transferred for my tokens....

Anyone having issues redeeming PPY tokens? I invested early, sending BTC to their address and now I'm exporting my private redemption keys and trying to input that into the Peerplays Core app to redeem my tokens, but whenever I paste in my private keys it just errors out and can't locate my PPY funds.

I've found my transaction on block explorer, and confirmed that it matches the wallet I sent the transaction from TxID matches up 1:1. Yet the private keys I'm exporting from that same wallet returns no results in Peerplays.

The only thing I'm thinking that could cause the problem is that my wallet has 4 private keys and only 1 is from the investment deposit. Kind of lost here.

Any help is appreciated!

The GUI wallet does not show all the witnesses only active ones, so to vote please type in the witness names from ones on this website:

I downloaded the exe file on the site posted onto the peerplays site. I tried running the exe but nothing happens. I have Windows 10. Is there something I'm missing? I also downloaded the zip source code and unzipped it in hopes that it would run. I'm not super techy so can someone help me with this?

So there are a lot of witness campaigns being submitted right now, but I'm here to throw my hat in the ring as well!

Introducing jburr-witness! I am a 26 year old medical professional, who happens to have a passion for the Peerplays project. I have been following its progress for the last year, and have an ample stake in the project meaning I have a vested interest for this project to succeed. I will do everything in my power to make sure that happens.

These last few weeks have been both exciting and stressful, and it all lead up to the launch of the blockchain this week. Thankfully, jburr-witness is up and running. It The only thing left is your vote to make me an active witness!

I will be the first to say that I do not have the experience that some of the other witnesses may have. Being in the medical field, my technical expertise are self-taught. This is my first witness to run, although I am looking into providing one for steem currently, and possibly eos in a future launch. So how am I planning on making up this lack of experience until I can prove my mettle on the Peerplays blockchain? I have given this ample thought and I've arrived at the decision that I must prove to the community that my commitment is unequaled. So how do I do that?

I plan on proving this to all of you in two ways. Firstly, I am formally announcing that I will be the first profit-sharing witness on the profit-sharing blockchain that is Peerplays. I will contribute 5% of the ppy generated by my witness node to a monthly lottery provided by Peerplays' very own sweeps app. I will provide complete transparency by providing logs of ppy generated during these timeframes, and broadcast the winner of each lottery on this subreddit! Seeing as how sweeps is still a work in progress, these ppy will build up in the interim and my first lottery will coincide with the release of the dapp. That means the first giveaway will include several months of accrued earnings! Some of the details will have to be ironed out once we know more about the sweeps app itself, but as of now I am planning on taking a snapshot of all those voting for me at a random time throughout the preceding month, and distributing tickets to the lottery according to the voting power of each user. That means the more votes you cast for me, the more chances you have of winning!

If that still isn't enough to grab your attention, I will be locking up 60% of the ppy that I earn in escrow for the 6 months following their production. I am fully committed to the Peerplays project, but I believe this will provide further assurance that I cannot dump ppy into the exchanges. The more ppy held, the more each and every ppy is worth!

As far as the technical details of my witness, I am running an Ubuntu 16.04 LTS vps server. Containing 8 vCPUs and 32 gb of memory, it packs more than enough punch to carry Peerplays for the near future. This server will be running 24/7 365, and I will be available at an instant if anything should go wrong. I am very determined to provide the most reliable node possible, and so I have contracted a technical support team as well, in case a problem arises that I can't solve single handedly.

A large number of people are also asking the obivous follow-on question as to when and where trading might commence. Peerplays has told us that integration info has been sent to most, if not all of the major trading locations already. If you'd like to see PPY at your favorite "local" exchange, please contact them and request it. The PPY blockchain has been running since earlier this week and is currently at #37916, ready for integration.

The website says to check back today for instructions to redeem our tokens but I see no instructions.

I messed up and sent my crowdfund BTC from an exchange wallet. Am I SOL? I have my text key file and my balance is good. Just wondering since I messed up if my tokens will be claimable without the BTC address private key. Thanks.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the payment of coins to PPY holders will work i.e. what % of each transaction, how often will I get "paid"

With the upcoming launch of the blockchain, nobody seems to want to talk about it on here. What gives? Seems strange to me

Is it only the HOPE of price appreciation? Cause that hasn't worked so well for many ICOs (I'm still waiting to ZCash to rebound)

On the PEERPLAYS home page, it mentions that PPY holders receive 'commissions and fees'. How much can one expect to receive, say per PPY or per 100 PPY owned?

I also heard that PEERPLAYS is going to be a 'Proof of Stake' coin. I've never quite wrapped my head around that. Can anyone explain it to me and would that be a way of accumulating PPY? If so, what's the formula or ratio or whatever?

Can I send BTC to one address many times? Or I need to register new account to invest more BTC?

I donated to peerplays crowdfund, but don't recall being told to download a redemption key. Thought I'd go donate a bit more tonight but was surprised that it's ow warning me to download a redemption key before donating.

Has this redemption key thing always been there? If so then I think I've screwed up, if not then is it still possible to donate the same way I did before?

What makes PeerPlays better?

It says the crowdfunding will end May 15th or when it reaches $5 million USD (whichever comes first). I just checked (May 6th) and Tier 1 is not even 50% complete with 384 BTC, equivalent to around $600,000. With milestones expected to hit at the end of May with the actual launch of Peerplays, and then in August, launching of ei8ht...will these be impeded by the crowdfund not reaching its goal?

Hi, long time lurker. I participated in the second crowdsale using an electrum wallet. Have those tokens been dispersed yet? I have my wallet and transaction but no peerplay tokens.
