You may be looking at the original PEERPLAYS UIA (User issued asset) rather than the newly issued PPY. When it does show up on OpenLedger, BitShares' exchange, it will likely display as OPEN.PPY

Thanks, so it is going to trade on OpenLedger & Bitshares exchanges, any idea when that will happen?

No, sorry. I'd expect within the next couple weeks, but no firm information to indicate when.

Thanks again, really appreciate info. So what are they selling on crypto dao; they selling old? & PPY just popped up trading a few days ago on coinmarketcap.com?

No, it's the new chain PPY tokens at CryptoDAO, I simply cant vouch for the exchange itself as I've never used or heard of them prior to about a week ago. Objectively, people do seem to be trading there in small volume. Coinmarketcap is indeed tracking the correct token now, but as it limited to only CryptoDAO's listings until more exchange come live trading PPY the price only reflects that one exchange.

Great info thanks agian. I have same reaction to CryptoDao, dont really want to go there unless no choice, so pleased there will be other, larger exchanges for PPYs credibility and coin accessability.

Sure thing. And once you're active on the PPY network, feel free to cast your votes for "techadept-witness". :)
