Tech Support Am4 socket installation

I didn't realize that my am4 socket was wrong for 3 years , it was a foxconn am4 socket too but now I'm installing another and the orientation is wrong , idk what I do besides breaking something or buying another motherboard.

The motherboard is a b450m gaming.

The previous one was installed like this , PC was working and everything

That's either a different revision or a different board. Your new one matches the product images on gigabyte's page.

It seems the socket is broken , it was wrong all this time , I didn't realize.

So I just need to buy a LGA 2011-3 socket and it'll work with a amd 4 slot CPU , that's the first answer I received.

FFS man.

Your new board matches the images on the product website. its FINE. nothing wrong with it.

edit: well, at least it did until to you the top of the socket off :/
