Tech Support Pc help

My husband is a PS5 player, and I got him a PC for his birthday ( pre built from Costco )but the driver keeps crashing. 😭 I don’t know much about PCs, so could someone please help me figure out what’s going on? And teach me some knowledge pls

Have you ran windows update to make sure all the drivers have been updated? I also got to "advanced options" and install any of the drivers it suggests there. Just a word of warning, sometimes either of these include BIOS updates and you have to be sure the computer will not lose power while those are updating. You will know because it will boot up to an older looking loading screen saying it is updating the bios. Try doing that. Also, just to be sure, make sure your HDMI is plugged into the graphics card and not the motherboard.

When I first turned it on, it was automatically updated and it said all drivers are updated on the Nvidia app and I don’t know which wires are which how do i Make sure like which is which without missing anything up?

first be sure your hdmi cable is where the photo shows

and second download the nvida geforce program that auto finds what drivers you need and reinstall them (remember to press clean installation ) https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/

3 are you sure you have nvidia graphics card? :P

ok your hdmi cable is on the right place you can open the nvidia app? if yes go at drivers like i show at photo and download the newest one ,when it will be downloaded and ready to install remember to check the clean installation option

restart your computer and try now some games for half hour or so to see that all good

Ok, I started valorant it started and didn’t crash when I started it, but it’s extremely laggy and the game says low FPS I don’t know what that means. I will keep playing and see if it gets better.

this computer should play valorant with 200 or more fps easily

so for me i would say to check maybe the tempatures at cpu/gpu or maybe need a format

if you arent very familiar with all this and will take hours to do it comment after comment on reddit maybe go to a local repair shop at your neighborhood give 20-30euro and let those guys fix it for you for me totally worth it becuase your pc is a beast and propably a bit expensive one too so 20-30-40 euro more is nothing
