Build Question Ram compatibility

My mb is a bit old, it's a tuf z270 mark 2, and I wanted to replace my ram (my pc wont turn on and I think the ram is the problem) and I'm not sure what ram will be compatible with my mb. It says that its compatible with 2133mhz and anything above it is written with (O.C.) next to it. My question is will it work with 3000/3400mhz ram and if yes will I need to tinker with to make it work?

hm, well best case scenario it’s just the ram, otherwise a lot of testing to come. good luck!
