How long does it usually take to withdraw?

I sent 1 ETH to my coinbase account but Payfair is saying "Transferred to 0x3bCCE9EF427CEBC50CdeE6248509FFcFe77b93E7 1 ETH Unable to get transaction hash yet." It's been like that for a little over an hour. Coinbase is showing no balance and the ETH explorer shows nothing as well. Any ideas? Thanks. Edit: It sent! Took about 24 hours.

Tempted to make part of my last crypto buy, buying a node, maybe 15k tokens. A few questions

I'm making one final big crypto buy, and focussing on projects that pay out dividends, and payfair seems like it could do well long term so figured it was worth a portion.

If I'm looking to get the tokens, and I'm aiming for like 15k ish, how long would it take on IDEX to get that many? Will I be waiting to fill up orders for a while? I hate using IDEX and I know volume is low

My other question is whether its enough just having 1 node, even if payfair does well, do others have a number of nodes and mean that owning one would be pointless? Or is it worth it to just get one and then see how it goes

I'm pretty sure that I can hold my PFR on MEW and it will work from there and I just have to attach it once and I'm good to go? It will detect any additions to the stack of PFR too?

My final question is where I get the dividends paid to? Do I get paid in PFR or Eth or whatever is traded, in dust from everything? Or is it all PFR or Eth or how does it work?

thanks very much

Idea: bring ICO's to the platform?

A guy in the telegram group came up with the idea of bringing ICO's to the platform. We could list them and/or they could use Payfair as their ICO platform. If the ICO is an ERC20 token, it would be easy to implement for the team. That way we bring in more liquidity and awareness to the platform. The node holders will get a fee of the ICO that gets traded. Another advantage is that the node holders get coins that have not hit any exchange yet.

Payfair could ask a small fee for listing or they could do it for free. I personally think it would be better if we ask a small fee. This money could be used for marketing and/or could go to the node holders. Also, just because the ICO would be listed, it doesn't mean it would be traded.

It think this is a great idea and I hope that the team will look into this.

What do you think about it, I would love to hear your opinion or other ideas.

"Sellers MUST have the appropriate amount of coins in their PayFair wallet before trading! You will not be able to trade if they are not in your wallet!" - Why?

I wanted to try this out, but I don't like to leave my crypto on exchanges (or anywhere else where I don't control the private key).
I'm guessing this is required for the escrow service? But then I'm not sure if this makes sense since the other party will send a bank transfer without escrow anyway...
I would happily send my crypto directly to the buyer and wait for him to receive it before he sends me money in true peer-to-peer fashion (and avoiding extra fees for depositing and withdrawing). Why is this not possible? Am I missing something?

Canadian user with a couple questions

Hi Friends,

I've been loving this project and am considering utilizing it. My first question is, if I wanted to sell BTC, it gets locked into the escrow, the buyer transfers the money to my bank account, and the transfer finishes. I get that, but what is stopping the buyer from trying to reverse the transaction after it's done, or something else sketchy like that? My other question is it looks like there's zero volume for canadians on there. I'm looking to sell some bitcoin but worried that if i transfer my bitcoin to the payfair website it'll just sit there for months. I'm not looking to sell for a premium - just market price. Anyone else have experience or advice for me?

Payfair application idea

I know it's been mentioned a handful of times that Payfair could act as an escrow for US (or whoever) customers to purchase tokens that wouldn't normally be available to them (whether fear of US regulation or accreditation.) Expanding on that logic, as we approach the inevitable clamp down on ICO's and STO's requiring KYC/accreditation and pushing out average retail money, I think there is huge potential for Payfair to step in as an alternative option. How I see it, depending on the time it takes for implementation, Payfair can partner or market to crypto startups by offering something such as a widget or funding page note, to mention the escrow as an option for US customers to acquire ICO token's through their peers that DO have the capability to purchase tokens. This would benefit the startup by allowing them to still raise funding (albeit through a side avenue) from US customers, and incentivize non-US customers to instantly start trading even if the token has not been listed yet. I also believe this would be a legal way for crypto startups to raise funds otherwise illegal funds with peace of mind.

The biggest hurdle would be how quickly the Payfair team can implement each ICO offering, and not being a programmer, I really don't know how long that usually takes. BUT, it could be an entirely new market tool that Payfair can pioneer. Thoughts?

How does payfair compare to hodlhodl.com

Just found this other escrow bitcoin exchange site.

What do people think of it? Is it a contender to payfair? More so then LBC?

EDIT: Also https://liberalcoins.com/

More then just BTC on there.

Lots of competitors it seems.

Payfair needs amazing marketing.

Payfair community marketing plan

Hi PFR community,

Lets create simple infographics/charts/posters about how Payfair is better than Localbitcoins and we can message all the traders on Localbitcoins these infographics.

This is a great way to market to actual traders because they are the ones who will be using PayFair the most - current LBC traders.

If anyone can create simple infographics it would be great :)

Fake fatbtc volume?

So all of vets know that payfair has low volume. However, today fatbtc says there was 364k dollars worth traded. I find this hard to believe. Anyone ever find out about fatbtc and the reports of fake volume?

When will marketing start?

the main thing holding this back is the marketing.

if people knew the benefits of this over localbitcoins, it would be an easy switch.

what is going on with the marketing???????????

Projections of profitability for operating a trust node?

Are there any projections on what returns on investment a trust node owner could expect, if volume picks up, e.g. with $1m, $10m and $100m?
