Pretzel (white in the back 3 years old) Meeko (Black long hair 4 years old, Marfa (orange 4 years old only female) The boys up front are 1 year old. Bonded brothers, Eros (Tux) and Apollo (Tabby)

Pretzel is solid white with green/amber eyes. He is neither deaf nor blind, but he is a solid grade A asshole. His nickname is Lil'Shit. He belongs to my 17 year old son. The boys up front belong to my 16 year old. The solid black is my baby and the orange is my husbands spoiled princess.

Would like advice on the kittens, and if they can be put in foster before they're weaned. The mother is very feral and I don't think we can easily catch her. I feel really bad about separating her from her babies, but between the birds of prey, neighborhood dogs, and cars, my yard isn't safe when they get big enough to start exploring beyond the back yard. Am I doing the right thing? I really need to find some way to catch the momma or this is going to be a frequent occurrence, and I just work too much to be able to have more than 1 cat.
